Hello, AES Family!
I'm Priscilla Cook, and I have the best job in the world--helping students reach their full potential!
This year marks my 30th year in education, and I’m just as passionate about helping children learn and grow as I was my very first year! Before becoming the counselor at AES, I taught first grade, fourth grade, and also served as a Reading Recovery teacher.
I’m married to my best friend, Jon Cook, and we recently celebrated 30 wonderful years of marriage. Jon serves as the Director of the Juvenile and Adult Probation Department for Jones and Shackelford Counties.
Education & Credentials:
Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Sul Ross State University, Alpine, TX
Master’s in Reading (Reading Specialist), Sul Ross State University, Alpine, TX
School Counseling Certification, ESC Region 14, Abilene, TX
I truly believe that every child can shine when they feel supported, seen, and valued. I’m looking forward to another great year at AES — helping our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally!
My goal is simple: to create a safe, caring, and positive environment where students can learn and grow.
