Each workshop is designed as a space for students to advance their learning and socio-emotional well being. The choice each student has in terms of workshops develops agency that honors their curiosity and personal needs in a flexible space and time. We believe that learning can transcend the four walls of a classroom or content area, and in so doing, we deepen the 21st century skills necessary for the future we are creating together.
Workshops provide dynamic learning experiences where students can deepen their knowledge, understanding and practice of our Core Values, with opportunities to showcase their development over time.

No doubt, all of you have heard the term “Yoga” which means something huge in its variations, methods and visions. As most of us know, the term "yoga" (Wikipedia) in the Western world often denotes a modern form of hatha yoga and a posture-based physical fitness, stress-relief, and relaxation technique, consisting largely of the asanas (static poses). Put your mind and body to it once and you will be captivated by the experience of freedom from stress and peace of mind, as well as the bodily lightness and energy.

Why has CrossFit become so popular recently? As the human physiology and sports science are progressing at ever faster pace, it has been proven that the movements and actions that you perform in your day-to-day life, like squatting, pulling, pushing etc., are so effective because their emphasis is shifted on the elements of load, distance and speed, (instead of the usual number of sets and repetitions), which help participants develop high levels of power in a shorter time. Try it out for at least one month!

Could it be the case that some forms of physical movement serve as portals for emotional and cognitive change? It is worth noting that many people who engage in aerobic exercise—from jogging to swimming—do so with musical accompaniment. On the other hand, dance becomes a means of connecting to broader and deeper emotional experiences—particularly ones associated with positivity and happiness. Zumba is a fusion of vigorous aerobic exercise and Dance. Try it once and you’ll likely be captivated without realizing it!
