XX Pirañas club anniversary

This year, we counted on the presence of 100 swimmers from 5 different schools in Nicaragua like Colegio Aleman, Lincoln School, Pierre y Marie Curie School, Delfines de la Gloria Academy and San Marcos. Our school was represented by 14 swimmers:

Diego Caldera - gold medal - 50 chest, bronze - 50 free, Marcela Coronel, Marcelo Fariñas - out of the contest, Marcelo Gutiérrez - gold medal - 25 free, Erick Lagos, Thelma Lanuza, Mauricio Largaespada, Alexa Lopez. Ana Luisa Matus - out of competition, Rosibel Mejia - 2 gold medals: 25 chest, 25 free, Valeska Navarrete - gold: 50 free, Sofia Siman - bronze - 50 free. Our team was in 5th place per team per score, but in 2nd place per medals. At the end of the event all the participants celebrated the 20 years of the club in a joyous conviviality with a cake.


National Swimming Speed ​​Championships in a 25 pool venue: Michele Richardson National Swimming Pool Complex.

The event was organized by the Swimming Federation of Nicaragua and with the participation of more than 80 swimmers from the country, represented by 9 teams, it was the last national official event of the year 2018. The ANS team was represented by 4 swimmers: Monica Molina, category 9-10 years, 2 gold medals in 5 back and 50 free, one bronze in 100 free, Ana Luisa Matus, category 11-12 years, 1 bronze medal in 50 chest, Mari Elisa Castillo, category 11-12 years , bronze medal in 50 butterfly. Another outstanding participation: Sebastian Zambrano in category 13-14 years, improving all his personal brands.


Middle School Swimming Intramural

Annual competition for 6th and 7th grade students where the best students of the regular PE program swimming course compete. 22 students participated. They competed in the tests 25 meters free and 25 meters chest. Next, the results of the main test: 25 meters free. All participants were awarded a gold medal.
