This year, all 6th-grade students at ANS have been provided with Chromebooks, marking a significant step toward digital equity and security. These devices will enhance classroom management, foster collaboration, and provide students with essential tools for academic success in a technology-driven world
Equipping each student with a Chromebook ensures equal access to digital resources while promoting responsible online behavior. This initiative aligns with our mission to create an environment where all students can thrive academically as responsible digital citizens.
The recent School Club Fair was a huge success, thanks to the active participation of our students. It offered them the perfect opportunity to explore a variety of extracurricular activities. There was something for everyone, from Pink Club Cancer Awareness to the Film and Arts Club. Students eagerly visited stands, asking questions and learning about different clubs before signing up for their favorites.
Through these clubs, students can cultivate intellectual curiosity, foster social responsibility, and build a strong sense of community and social connection. We’re excited to see the passion and enthusiasm they will bring to these activities throughout the year!
In our Modern Language classroom, students explored Jean Dubuffet’s distinctive self-portrait style and applied his artistic techniques to create their unique self-portraits. They also learned to introduce themselves in French, combining creativity with language skills.
Through this activity, we encourage artistic expression and foster global awareness by immersing students in visual and cultural elements from around the world.
This week in our Creative Arts and Crafts class for the PAW program, students created beautiful paper fans to celebrate Fiestas Patrias.
This hands-on project not only allowed students to explore their artistic talents but also aligned with our school's mission of academic excellence by integrating cultural appreciation into their learning experience.
