Having a Debate team at ANS is essential for fostering a passion for improving our global community among youth. It encourages engagement with pressing issues and develops critical thinking and communication skills.
Encouraging collaboration allows students from different backgrounds to share their viewpoints, fostering empathy and understanding.
Congratulations delegates on preparing for this important event and we are confident you will shine on every committee.
This week, our ANS students completed the PSAT, and the administration went smoothly. We are proud of the effort everyone put into preparing for the test. Students can expect to receive their results in the second week of November. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Karina Chamorro.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our seniors for their dedication and hard work on their college applications this fall. As early action deadlines approach, we encourage parents and guardians to check in on their teen´s well-being during this demanding period. The college application process can bring significant stress, and your positive support and encouragement are vital in helping them maintain balance and focus. Thank you for your continued involvement in their journey.
Our 6th graders in the Humanities class embarked on an exciting journey to create future civilizations inspired by the lessons of ancient cultures—exploring their experiences, choices, mistakes, and achievements. Their inquiry began with extensive research using nonfiction books, allowing them to uncover how the past shapes our present and future.
Our students brought their learning to life through innovative designs and powerful ideas. Audience members had the chance to engage with their projects using VR goggles, immersing themselves in these imaginative worlds. We celebrate their hard work and creativity, which truly embody the spirit of learning and inquiry at ANS!
In a recent lesson, 9th-grade World History students explored the world of Hunters and Farmers in the Americas using the Cause and Effect Notes strategy. They uncovered how early Americans adapted to challenges. This engaging exploration helped students grasp the incredible strategies that shaped early American life!
In the next class, ANS students participated in the exciting Balloon Game to review their notes! This interactive activity promoted collaboration while reinforcing key concepts from the previous lesson.
By engaging in a dynamic, hands-on approach, students enjoyed a fun and memorable review process that enhanced their understanding of early American societies.
