Holiday Concert

This week, our Seniors showcased their Capstone Projects in the Ossi Room, presenting to a panel of teacher evaluators and their classmates. They were challenged to create professional presentations and respond to questions and feedback from the evaluators, demonstrating the depth of their work and dedication.
As part of this process, students conducted formal interviews with experts in fields related to their projects, developed detailed action plans, and reflected on key lessons learned. Their projects spanned a wide range of interests and disciplines, including documentary filmmaking, novel writing, and research on topics such as the empirical use of antibiotics, the effectiveness of typing versus handwritten note-taking, and how digit ratios might influence competitiveness.
In the second semester, many students will further extend their learning by leading their own PAW and CLAW workshops. These workshops will cover various topics, including career paths in law and engineering, global architecture, personalized SAT preparation, weightlifting, and even organizing an intramural soccer tournament.
The creativity, ambition, and effort our Seniors have demonstrated are truly remarkable. We look forward to celebrating their achievements during the Capstone Project Showcase later this school year. Excellent work, Seniors!
During the holiday season, the spirit of giving takes on a special significance, reminding us of the importance of community and support. Contributing to the NHS Holiday Gift Basket is a wonderful way to show appreciation for our maintenance and after school coaches, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our environment safe and welcoming.
These thoughtful gift baskets will be presented at the PTO Luncheon, spreading warmth and gratitude among those who dedicate themselves to our well-being.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Holiday Gift Basket; your generosity and kindness light up the season and remind us all of the joy that comes from giving and supporting one another.
