This week, we welcomed 6th-grade parents to an orientation to help ease the transition from primary to middle school. We covered key differences, including a more complex schedule, increased responsibilities, and the opportunity for students to explore new subjects.
Parents were introduced to our Paw Program, we discussed the use of Chromebooks and Google Classroom for assignments and communication. We also explained our grading system, awards, and the variety of extracurricular activities available to students.

This week, we welcomed 8th-grade parents to an orientation designed to prepare for their child's final year of middle school. We discussed the unique challenges and opportunities of 8th grade, including the transition to high school, increased academic expectations, and leadership roles within the school.
If you missed the session, take a look at our presentation. We’re excited about the year ahead and look forward to working together to make this a successful and memorable final year of middle school!
This week, 10th-grade Biology students conducted different experiments to practice collecting data, identifying experimental variables, and making hypotheses.
This week in Chemistry, our scientists are studying the periodic table. They are examining real-life samples of elements and carrying out chemical reactions to understand how elements interact. Emphasizing safety, we are ensuring that students are well-versed in lab protocols. Ultimately, these lab sessions will enable students to use the periodic table to predict the properties of elements and chemical reaction outcomes.
During PAW, 6th Graders embark on their book club journey! Each page turned is an opportunity to see the world through new eyes, to walk in someone else’s shoes, and to open their minds to endless possibilities. Through questioning, discussing, and sharing, 6th graders dive deep into the themes and ideas that shape each story. They explore these narratives together, and celebrate the joy of reading and nurture their growth as thinkers and learners. They become agents of their own learning by engaging in conversations that challenge them.
Together, we are cultivating a love for reading that goes beyond the classroom. A passion that will guide students as lifelong learners who read to understand, connect, and transform our world.
This week, we had the opportunity to welcome representatives from CEU University and Anáhuac University at ANS, offering our 10th to 12th-grade students a unique glimpse into the world of higher education.
These prestigious universities provided valuable insights into their academic offerings, campus life, and the opportunities they offer for personal and professional growth.
As our students approach critical decisions about their future, understanding their options is key. Engaging directly with university representatives helps demystify the application process, broadens their perspectives on what’s possible, and encourages them to start envisioning their academic and career paths.
These interactions also inspire our students, showing them the doors that education can open and motivating them to strive for excellence in their studies. We are grateful to CEU and Anáhuac for their time and commitment to guiding our students toward bright and successful futures.
