Nov. 6th-9th
AASCA Track & Field
Our Track and Field team is getting ready for the main event of the year, the AASCA Track & Field championship in El Salvador, scheduled from November 6th to the 9th.
ANS will be the only Nicaraguan school participating in this event, which is set to be the largest AASCA gathering ever, featuring over 500 young athletes from across the region.
This week, our athletes received a fantastic send-off at a Pep Rally attended by the entire Secondary School. The excitement and energy from the event ensure that the team heads to their competition feeling supported by everyone!
The team also took part in an "autograph morning," where fans from the whole school had the chance to meet them up close. During this event, the athletes received their special tournament kit packages, signed AASCA participation contracts, and participated in a photo session.
Stay tuned for updates on their progress on our social media!

We are thrilled to introduce these new uniforms to the community and are confident students will make the most of them as they proudly represent ANS. We can’t wait to see everyone in action!
As our Track and Field team prepares to head to the AASCA event, the Boys Basketball team has just returned from an intense three days of competition in Guatemala. They played five games, qualified for the Gold Division (consisting of the top six teams out of twelve), achieved the second-best points on average in the tournament, and ultimately finished in fifth place.
The experience was unmatched for the boys, and while everyone showcased their true tiger spirit, our standout performers were Gian Carlo Palazio, Maximus Parrales, and Tito Sequeira. They were recognized as ANS’s MVP and All-Star team members, respectively.
We are incredibly grateful for everything the boys accomplished. Their hard work continues here in Nicaragua, where they triumphed on Tuesday in the semi-finals of the Copa Fuente Pura, qualifying for the final match. The final will take place this Saturday, November 2nd, at the SportSlam complex, starting at 10:00 AM.
MOTIVATION
Our ANS Senior Veronica Navarrete is a Nicaraguan National Team member and plays at a professional level in Primera Division for Managua FC.
She recently spent a week in the USA at the prestigious UNIAMI ID CAMP showcase event, where she was surrounded by some of the best soccer talents her age from around the world. University and club scouts were in attendance, seeking future stars who can contribute to their programs.
We are incredibly proud of Veronica for this achievement and look forward to seeing how her career progresses in the future. Keep up the good work!
