Youth Ministries

Here at Annunciation, we have many offerings for the youth:

- Sunday School on Sundays following Holy Communion for K3-12th grade

- GOYA, Greek Orthodox Youth of America, community and events for 7th-12th graders

-JOY, Junior Orthodox Youth, community and events for 2nd-6th graders

-VCS, Vacation Church School, a week-long summer day camp for K3-8th graders

-Basketball Tournament, a fun weekend for 2nd-12th graders to compete and play basketball

-FANARI Camp, a week-long overnight camp run by the Metropolis of Chicago for 6th-12th graders

- Sat, Oct. 11th 10:30am-1:30pm HOPE/JOY Movie: Light of the World. Animated movie for little ones, siblings, and parents. Coordinator: Angie Panagiotopoulos

- Sun, Oct. 19th 11:15-11:30am Blessing of the New Benches under the Portico Eagle Scout Project by Andrew Thomson. ALL Youth Groups and Parishioners Invited!

- Sun, Oct. 19th 11:30-1pm (immediately after Sunday School) GOYA Social Gathering- Picnic lunch, games & campfire for Middle and High School kids. Coordinator: Helene Tzougros

- Fri, Nov. 7th 4:30-6:30pm HOPE Nugget Nation Fun for little ones and parents.

- Fri Nov. 14- Saturday Nov. 15  Sts. Constantine & Helene and Annunciation GOYA combined LOCK-IN at our church for Middle and High School kids. Coordinator: Kim Mamalakis and Krissy Connor
