安华腰鼓队介绍1. 腰鼓简介
起源于中国陕西的腰鼓已经有2000多年的历史，它具有浓郁的中国传统和文化特色，被誉为“天下第一鼓”。腰鼓舞动作优美、刚劲、矫健、洒脱、热情、奔放，常用来在大型庆典活动中展示中国传统文化魅力。腰鼓舞既有健身性、又有观赏性，是一项适合各年龄段人群长期参与的绝佳娱乐健身运动，因而深受广大民众的喜爱。
2. 安华腰鼓队介绍
在安华中文学校的大力支持和扶持下，安华腰鼓队于2013年秋成立。腰鼓队员主要来自于安娜堡及周边地区各行各业的在职人员。安华腰鼓队将向美国民众宣传、展示这种具有鲜明中国特色的民间艺术形式视为己任，全队上下共同努力，形成了良好的团队氛围。队员们利用大量的业余时间刻苦练习，逐步掌握了集协调性、节奏感、美感为一体的腰鼓技巧。尤其近几年，腰鼓队有了长足的进步，队员们已掌握并演出了多套腰鼓舞，队员也由建队初期的几个人发展到了现在的三个班、近四十人。
3. 安华腰鼓队活动介绍
A. 课堂教学
安华腰鼓队分为三个班上课，每班有10多名队员，由一名老师任课。两位老师均自愿承担教学任务。她们紧密配合，除承担每周一次的教学任务外，她们负责制定教学和演出计划、学习编排新的舞蹈、对所接受的演出组织排练、安排演出人员、做周密的演出准备等等。
安华腰鼓队每周日上课，每年上课约为30次。每学年从九月份起至来年的六月。除此之外，腰鼓队在暑期还会组织练习，为国庆游行和中秋演出做准备。腰鼓队的上课地点Concordia University 的排练大厅，每班上课时间一小时十五分钟。
B. 演出活动：
安华腰鼓队成立近五年多来参与了多次社区演出及其它活动，充分展示了腰鼓的独特魅力，受到广泛赞誉。每年国庆节游行，腰鼓队都是安华中文学校的主力方阵。队员们精神抖擞地走在游行队伍的最前面，震天的鼓声、多彩的舞姿和鼓点，引来在场观众的阵阵喝彩。坎通每年三次的国际艺术节及中国年庆祝活动，腰鼓是最具中国特色、最受欢迎的节目之一。安华腰鼓队还连续几年参加了在Briarwood Mall里举行的大型中国年庆典。腰鼓队员们用气势磅礴的鼓声和鑔声向人们充分展示了腰鼓的美。2017年1月25日，安华腰鼓队受密西根大学邀请，为女篮球赛做中场表演。腰鼓队推出了由25人参加的鼓镲配合的大型节目”安城鼓浪“。这是我们当地华人社团第一次在这样的大型场合表演。在场观众用掌声和喝彩声表达了对演出的赞赏。演出也得到活动组织者的高度评价。除此之外，安华腰鼓队还多次参加中秋晚会演出，并应邀在市图书馆、私立小学及GM、Ford等地演出。腰鼓已成为安城各项中国文化宣传活动不可或缺的、最具代表性的节目。
1. Introduction to Waist Drum Dance
Waist drum is a traditional Han Chinese folk dance originated in the Shaanxi province of northwestern China about 2000 years ago. It has been called "The No 1 Drum Dance in the World" for its majestic performance and boundless vigor and was recognized as a Chinese national intangible cultural heritage. Its graceful yet forceful movements fully embody the honest and simple, yet powerful and optimistic character of the drummers and are loved by people around the country. It has been a very popular form of performance showcased in major celebrations of traditional holidays and special events across the country.
2. Annhua Waist Drum Team
Sponsored by the Annhua Center, the Annhua drum team was formed in the fall of 2013 with about a dozen or so professionals from Ann Arbor and surrounding areas. This group of fitness enthusiasts set a goal to bring waist drum, a very unique Chinese folk art, to life in America. Started by relying mostly on YouTube videos, they have been working very hard in their spare time to gain good grasps of this difficult art form. Over the last few years, they have made tremendous progress in terms of their drumming skill sets as well as the group size. Currently, there are over thirty members in two classes.
3. Drum Team activity overviews
A. Class lessons
The Annhua drum team has two self taught teachers leading three classes of more than members each. The teachers, who teach on a completely volunteering basis, work closely with each other and set progressive program plans for the classes. They have developed a set of highly functional methods in teaching drumming skills as well as choreography for performances.
B. Performance opportunities
The Annhua drum team has developed several different styles of drum dances and has performed numerous times in the Ann Arbor and Canton areas . They are a very well liked fixed figure in the annual Independence Day parade in Ann Arbor; they are invited to perform in several annual events every year in Canton; they bring not only multiple drum dances but also serve as the backbone of the parade in the annual "Chinese Year" celebration in the Briarwood shopping mall; they always showcase the biggest assembly in the annual Mid-autumn celebration of the Annhua community; they have been invited and numerous times by local library, schools as well as big companies such as Ford and GM to perform in their festive gatherings. Early this year, they had a special appearance at a basketball halftime show at the Crisler Center of the University of Michigan and was very well received.
