A Birth Doula is a companion who supports a mother through labor, birth & serves women in the immediate postpartum period to address concerns and assist them in processing their birth experience.
Birth doulas are trained to provide continuous, one-on-one care, as well as information, physical support, and emotional support to birthing persons & their partners.
You may want to have a doula if:
You want more out of your pregnancy and childbirth experience.
You view the task ahead of you as both exciting and terrifying at the same time.
You see pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood as an opportunity for self-growth and discovery.
