At Anna ISD, our goal is to help emergent bilingual students develop their English language skills while being successful in the classroom.

Our ESL program uses a push-in model, meaning students receive language support throughout their regular classroom instruction. All teachers play an important role in helping students grow in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

This page includes resources to help you understand your students' language needs, provide appropriate accommodations, and incorporate language development into your everyday lessons.

Remember: You don't have to create a separate lesson for your emergent bilingual students. Small adjustments to your instruction can make a big difference!
