PURPOSE AND INTENDED USE

PURPOSE

The Ankeny Service Center is utilizing the space at 316 SW Maple Street as a Community Garden. With the help of local nonprofits and businesses, ten 4x8 raised garden beds will offer a place to grow fresh produce.  Items will be harvested by volunteers and delivered to the Ankeny Service Center, where it will be distributed in our food pantry and shared with other Ankeny food pantries. 

USE

The Community Garden will supply Ankeny food pantries with fresh produce. ANYONE in the community is welcome to visit the Ankeny Service Center to gather items. We are located in the Community Resource Connection building, 641 S. Ankeny Blvd.
