Live Meetings have proven to be the best way to connect members across the time zones.
We use Google Meet for small group meetings.
When we have large groups, we use Zoom and split into small Zoom rooms to discuss a topic and then share our learning in the main room.
Monika and Kicki are in charge.
We have been running two meetings per month at different times and see the potential for four or more such meetings per month at other different times.
Check the Calendar to sign up for the next Live Meetings.

WORK IN PROGRESS
WORK IN PROGRESS
Our work is mainly practical. We make posters, worksheets, booklets, cards that can be used in schools and classrooms to bring coaching and teaching together in living, loving, learning communities. We work across generations, countries. cultures and languages. Who needs to know about this?
In schools and classrooms, interactions are mainly VERBAL. We meet and speak. We listen with open ears, open hearts and open minds.
Who needs to know how to do this?
Martin Richards wrote several books about his experiences as a Teacher of Mathematics and Computer programming, being a Teacher of English and Drama; and how he combined all of that with working as a Certified Life Coach coaching and mentoring teachers, and giving talks 'Choices to be Proud of' to teenagers.
On his tours, he began to encounter other teachers who were also coaches. He encouraged them to write their stories, and published them in a series of books "Teachers who Coach".
Some TwC members self-identify mainly as as Teachers. We invite them to explore what non-directive coaching feels like.
We do this by offering them a Discovery Session with a Certified Coach who has volunteered their time, at no cost.
All we ask is that the Teacher write some feedback about the experience.
Most TwC members identify themselves as 'teachers who coach a bit'.
We offer them the opportunity to sharpen their coaching skills.
Every quarter, we arrange for groups with 3-4 members who will then self-organise coaching and feedback Practice Sessions during 3-4 months.
Many TwC members self-identify as Coaches.
We encourage them to join the Practice Sessions so that Teachers who 'coach a bit' have experienced partners to practice with.
Those coaches who possess both certifications and experience are encouraged to offer Discovery Sessions so that Teachers may experience non-directive coaching.
Authors, Teachers who coach... these are the people who are bringing coaching in schools and classrooms. Who else will you tell about this microsite?
