Technical and Digital Literacy Skills Required for Courses:
Use a learning management system (LMS). AISD Teacher Academy uses Schoology as its LMS. If you need help with Schoology, see the Schoology Student Guide.
Use software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and email.
Have access to and use Google Suite software applications, such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Perform basic computing tasks, such as managing files, copying, pasting, and sharing.
Perform basic troubleshooting skills.
Send and download attachments. Share and store files appropriately.
Use online communication tools, such as email, discussion boards, and chats.
Use online search tools for specific academic purposes, including the ability to use search criteria, keywords, and filters.
Properly cite information sources.
Minimum Technology Requirements:
Participants enrolled in a course or a workshop must have reliable access to a computer and high-speed Internet access.
Computer Requirements:
Access to Internet.
Ability to view Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides: if your institution restricts access to Google Suite, please work with your IT department to ensure your ability to view.
