Paint it black and light my fire, for all we are is dust in the wind.
Praise the Lord for your presence and I thank ye always for blessing us with your time and attention. Disappointed, you shall not be. 🙂↕️
Welcome, and thank you so much for being here tonight. This show has been a labor of love; full of late nights, laughter, and a whole lot of heart. It means the world to finally share it with you. Theater only truly comes alive when there's an audience, and tonight, you complete the story. Sit back, enjoy the ride, and know that every moment onstage was created with you in mind
The stage and set this year has been thrown together with a few odds and ends I've picked up through my years of working at camp, previous AUTW productions and construction projects. (Shoutout to Amos, my brother and my dad for helping to construct the walls this year! And Jean for helping paint! And the whole crew who has pulled together to do the set changes!)
I also headed up costumes this year, which started with discussing the vision Joel & Reagan had and doing the best I could to reproduce it, which turned out even better than we imagined! (shout out to Amos and Isa for helping me bring the vision to life!)
I hope you guys enjoy the show, as our whole admin team has all worked extremely hard to bring Much Ado to life, through the wonderful acting done by our cast, to our set, sound design, and costumes! Thank you SO much for coming! Your support is why we do this!
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Much Ado!
This production involved much ado—from rehearsals to curtain call—and none of it was for nothing. Thank you to our cast and crew for making every moment count. As president, I am especially grateful to my fellow club officers, whose leadership, support, and behind-the-scenes work made this production possible. And to our audience, thank you for sharing in the laughter and for supporting student theater.💙
