Hi! My Name is Zeda Xu. 

I am a Fourth-year Ph.D. candidate studying Agentic AI, Engineering Design, and Human-AI Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University. My research focuses on developing advanced AI systems and AI-powered design tools for engineers and designers, and supporting metacognition, explainable decision-making, and human-AI collaboration. 

I am co-advised by Dr. Christopher McComb (Mechanical Engineering, Carnegie Institute of Technology) and Dr. Nikolas Martelaro (Human-Computer Interaction Institute, School of Computer Science).
