Real-time translator:
I started writing and maintaining some of my programs when available, including a real-time translator using Python. I handled the speech recognition using the "whisper_mic" library and translated using the "googletrans" library.
The motivation is to build a software for courses with lots of complex words for non-native English speakers. And for some videos that contains very fast-paced speech
The program takes mic input and output recognized text and translation in the terminal. Above is a screenshot of the translated output from the macOS terminal.

Machine learning notes in Latex:
I have been learning machine learning algorithms for different courses and felt a need to summarize some fundamental or core algorithms of it to get a better understanding of the AIML. I am starting to summarize Machine Learning and Reinforcement Learning using latex to help me learn cutting-edge AI algorithms, as the current trend for robotics. I felt it was really helpful to express the algorithm as precise as I could when writing summaries. The page is still under construction and cannot be listed here :(
Error metric library:
Currently, my research contains intensive use of C/C++ and Python. I am trying to create and manage my own library in Python, wrapping it just like a package in PyPI.
I started wrapping up some error metrics such as MAE, MSE, MAPE, and RMSE... for data analysis. These would help me learn Python quickly and easily. I am still working on this library in my spare time --- not so much time actually.
It's still under construction and I am not planning to publish it cause there are already packages for this purpose and my library is too young compared to the existing ones, maybe for now!
Travel!
I enjoyed traveling a lot! I have been to most of the provinces in China as I grew up. However, some of the pictures disappeared when I changed my phone. I cannot show all my photos here but there are some of them.
Traveling kind of expanded my view of the world and get familiar with more cultures and living styles. I experienced many different food cultures, city cultures, and living styles that are kind of embedded in a certain area.
Music & Musicals
Musics are quite powerful for refreshing my mood and mental well-being. I spent much of my time listening to different genres including Cpop, country, R&B, rock, rap, pure music, etc.

The musical that Based on the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow. The story is about one of the founding fathers of the US and the first U.S. secretary of the treasury.
I watched the show in Boardway, NY. The style is sung-and-rapped-through with about one chapter in Jazz. (maybe)

Oil Paintings & Arts
I like oil paintings and has been to many different museums to look at the masterpieces from various artists. Some of them are shown below. The oil painting looks like pixel arts --- similar thing that we do in computer graphics!

I enjoy watching natural museums and historical exhibitions as well, I have been to carnegie museum of natural history andthe metropolitan museum of art.
Cooking! I like chinese food and I would like to cook when I am availble!
Haven't found restaurants that have similar taste as those in China. So I cook for myself if I have time at home. And I like seafood very much.
And I would like to share some memories of delicious food in restaurants.
