I looked at Nathan’s lesson plan for coding java. Nathan’s lesson was extremely informative providing deeper insight into output to the console when coding. This lesson was created nicely as the steps integrated right into each other. One issue I came across was that if you are new to coding, there is a pretty high chance you will not know what is happening. Nathan’s lesson requires a student to have a foundation of previous knowledge to understand what is happening. Nathan’s lesson also doesn’t let students figure it out on their own. The answers are just given straight away, not allowing students to learn and comprehend with their own process. Despite these drawbacks, Nathan’s lesson was very informative and cohesive, being a great example for a student who has already learned some code.
