How could well-defined technology help promote learnign and instruction in this ecosystem? By "well-designed" we mean smart tools created through processes of human-centered design and learning engineering. Ai is helpful, but design is critical.
Such tools could be designed to work with students directly – for example, in the form of an intelligent tutoring system or a system that supports peer tutoring. They could also be used to support teachers in their communication with students, or support communication between students and other facilitators, such as human tutors, peer students, parents, and caregivers.
