Portfolio presentations typically occur as a part of an interview process for various creative-related full time or internship opportunities including roles such as UI/UX Design or Research, Product Design, Instructional Design or Product Management. In a portfolio presentation, candidates are typically asked to provide a detailed overview of a project or multiple projects from their portfolio to demonstrate their capabilities, thought process and communication skills to a potential employer.

Other Potential Interview Formats for Creative-Related Roles:

• White board exercises: candidate performs design exercise in real-time in front of interviewer

• Design challenges: usually a challenge sent online to a candidate to be completed on their own time and sent back to the recruiter
