A lot of people came to me and asked, "How do you obtain the satellite data?" Well, I guess the question is more, "How do you transform unstructured, multidimensional scientific data into readable Excel files?" Oh, I wish I could answer this question in one line. Here am I, preparing some slides at LEO Meeting, attempting to answer this question. The password is jHy%3.a9.

In my second year, I took a course called "Decarbonizing the Steel Industry" and visited Mon Valley Works. This pivotal experience formed the basis of my second paper, "Impact of Blast Furnace Closure on Air Pollution", co-authored with Prof. Edson Severnini and Prof. Valerie Karplus.
Additionally, as a dedicated member of LEO@CMU, led by Prof. Karplus, I've gained immensely from weekly presentations, ranging from peer-led sessions to librarian-guided talks. The practice conference talks and group outings have also greatly enhanced my academic experiences.
Our group at LEO@CMU explores a broad spectrum of topics, including the modeling of Alaskan Salmon Reproduction, the innovation in electric vehicle batteries, process optimizations in the steel industry, and the analysis of air pollution from stationary sources. We employ diverse research methods such as econometric models, qualitative analysis, and linear programming to tackle these complex subjects.

Part of Industrial Decarbonization Analysis, Benchmarking, and Action (INDABA) Partnership Visit to China, Summer 2024
I was fortunate to organize and attend the Conference on Global Pathways to Green Iron and Steel in Beijing, where I explored cutting-edge technologies such as electrolysis cells powered by renewable energy, hydrogen fueling stations, and hydrogen-based steel production. This eye-opening experience has provided me with extraordinary insights and networking opportunities.
