Project Description
As a step toward addressing global threats to biodiversity, her research focuses on developing an architecture of adaptive cohabitation where design improves conditions for nonhumans in addition to humans.
Her interest is in using speculative design which simultaneously investigates the past and future(s) to critique current design tropes and innovate. This project, “Guest Room: Multispecies Condenser,” strives to combine landscape and architecture into an infrastructural machine to support cohabitation between humans and nonhumans.
