ACCUPLACER is a computerized placement test used by many colleges and tech schools to assess incoming student's proficiency in reading, writing, English and mathematics. If you plan to take any courses at TCTC, you will need a certain score on the ACCUPLACER. This is a great, FREE opportunity to take this placement test.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a heavily researched and well-respected aptitude test developed by the Department of Defense. It measures a young adult's strengths and potential for success in military training. Click here for ASVAB practice questions.

The PSAT provides great practice for the SAT®. The PSAT is administered to all sophomores on campus for FREE.
The PSAT/NMSQT® (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) is an important step for juniors along your path to college. It offers you the opportunity to qualify for scholarships that can help pay for college. Juniors will need to register and pay for testing on campus.

The WIN Test is a workforce education and development tool that shows employers your skill level and workplace potential. Areas tested are Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information, and Locating Information. All juniors at Westside are required to take the WIN Test and no registration is required.
