Art 2
Art 2 builds on the skills and concepts introduced in Art 1, giving students more opportunities to experiment, take creative risks, and develop their own artistic voice. Through a variety of drawing, painting, design, mixed-media, and 3D projects, students strengthen their techniques while creating increasingly personal and ambitious work. Art 3/4 Honors is an advanced, student-driven course designed for artists ready to challenge themselves and develop a stronger personal style. Students explore advanced techniques, independent projects, and a variety of media while building a portfolio that reflects their growth, creativity, and artistic voice. Digital Photography introduces students to the fundamentals of photography, including composition, lighting, camera techniques, and visual storytelling. Students learn to use photography as a creative medium while developing a unique perspective and an eye for compelling images. Explore the amazing photographs captured by our students!
Ceramics introduces students to the creative possibilities of working with clay through hand-building, sculptural techniques, surface design, and glazing. Art Club & NAHS
Art Club is a creative community where students can make art, try new things, collaborate, and share their love of the arts. Members participate in creative activities, school and community projects, and opportunities to showcase their work while connecting with other student artists.
National Art Honor Society (NAHS) recognizes and supports students who demonstrate a commitment to the visual arts, leadership, service, and academic excellence. Members have opportunities to create, exhibit, volunteer, collaborate, and contribute to the school and community through the arts.
