The End-of-Course Examination Program (EOCEP) is a statewide assessment program of end-of-course tests for high school students enrolled in English 2, Biology 1, Algebra 1, and United States History and Constitution.
· EOCEP examination scores account for 20% in the calculation of the student’s final grade.
· The EOCEP test measures what students have been learning all semester in this subject. The test questions are aligned to South Carolina academic standards.
o US History and Constitution standards
· EOCEP tests are untimed. Most students complete the test in 2-3 hours. Students are expected to complete the test during a single day.
· Please ensure your student is on time each day, and refrain from scheduling any early dismissals or appointments on test days.
· Tests will be administered online using South Carolina’s digital portal. Students will need to bring a charged Chromebook to school on test day.
Electronic Device Policy:
Students may not be in possession of any electronic device(s) during the test administration that can be used for communicating, recording, timing, creating images, or storing images except for necessary medical devices. Students must turn off and put electronic devices in their backpacks. Students will not have access to backpacks until after the test session is complete.
In accordance with the SC Department of Education Test Administration Manual and Anderson 5 Board Policies JICJ and JICDA, if a student is in possession of and/or uses a personal electronic device during an active test session or utilizes their district-issued testing device for any purpose other than testing, penalties may include the following: invalidation of the test score, receiving a zero on the test, suspension or expulsion from school, and/or an investigation by local police or the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) with possible criminal charges or other civil or legal sanctions.

The South Carolina Career Readiness Assessment is required for all third year students and newly enrolled fourth-year students.

In conjunction with Tri-County Technical College, all third year students are offered the Accuplacer to determine their eligibility for Dual Enrollment classes.
A pre-test meeting for students will be held in the Mall Area at To Be Announced.
A post-test meeting for students will be held in the Mall Area for testers on To Be Announced. Students will receive scores during their IGP meetings.

The South Carolina Seal of Biliteracy is an official credential awarded to students who demonstrate high proficiency in both English and at least one additional world language. This recognition serves as a verified indicator of bilingualism and biliteracy for colleges, universities, and employers throughout the United States.
