STRIVE
Structured Teaching Reinforced In a Visual Environment
Welcome to the STRIVE room!
In this classroom we focus on individualized instruction for each student and meeting the student at their current level. I use the TEACCH framework in my classroom. This framework is specifically designed for students with Autism to help them better navigate the classroom, increase engagement, increase independence, and decrease behaviors. In this room, we STRIVE for progress NOT perfection!
Here you can find important information, classroom updates, and photos of all our fun!
I am originally from Cincinnati, OH. I graduated from the College of Education at the University of Cincinnati in 2015. I moved here in summer of 2016. I have been working with individuals with Autism since I was 18, and individuals with disabilities since I was 16. I am truly passionate about individuals with disabilities and beyond blessed to love what I do, every day.
