Read with your student everyday! Reading to them and having them read are both helpful!

Ask questins about what you are reading like What happened in the beginning, middle and end?, Who are the main characters? How do the characters act? Why did they do that?

Work on spelling words and sight words! These word should be word students know quickly and automatically to help with reading!
