A little about me...

Welcome to first grade! I'm Kaileigh Coats and I can't wait to have your child in first grade! This is will be my 14th year teaching. I'm so thankful and blessed to be part of such a wonderful school family here at Midway. 

I graduated from Anderson University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education in 2011. I also attended Anderson University for my Masters of Education program and graduated in 2014. I'm a product of Anderson School District 5 and love my community that gave me so much! 

I was born and raised in Anderson, SC and am very fortunate to have my family in the upstate as well. My husband, Adam, and I are high school sweethearts and we have two sweet little girls. Our 8 year old, Ansley, is in third grade here at Midway and our 5 year old, Charlie, is in kindergarten here at Midway as well.  I think my greatest accomplishment and job is being their mom. They have taught me so much about life, how to love, and how to be a better teacher. When I'm not spending time with my family, I am with the best group of friends you could ever ask for or helping at my church. I also love to exercise, bake, decorate, cheer on the Clemson Tigers and shop!
