Each game is created with Google Slides.
When playing the game be sure to use the links on the page/slide. DO NOT PRESS PLAY ON THE SLIDE OR USE THE DIRECTIONAL ARROWS ON THE KEYBOARD. Each slide is linked to specific items, so only click within the slide itself.
Game HINT: If students have pressed play or used the directional arrows on the keyboard, press the HOME button to reset the game board.
HINT: If you do not have the game pieces you can use a 5 or 6 sided dice. Roll the number dice with the color dice.
REMEMBER: ALL students work out the problem and write it on their whiteboard or paper.
Some questions require students to draw the time on a clock. You can click here for a template. You can also use the old school plastic clocks (Judy Clocks). Personally, I feel the more hands-on for students the better.
If you really like this game, Amazon sells a Learning Clock that allows you to change the clock hands and write the time digitally with a dry erase marker!
Jenga - Time 1 thru Jenga - Time 11: These eleven games focus on telling time in increments of five. Students will need to be able to read analog and digital clocks and create analog and digital clocks. Students will use their knowledge of months, days, years, and am/pm as well as deal with word problems and elapsed time.
