My co-workers and I love to incorporate our childhood games into the classroom, thus the inclusion of JENGA! We found content made by some AWESOME educators! But there was one problem. When implemented as a station rotation students were unable to self-check. So, we adapted and added a digital component. A template for a Jeopardy game created by Eric Curts was tweaked to fit our needs. With oodles of content from a variety of UH-MAZE-ING educators, we were able to create this Jenga launchpad. Please enjoy!
This page will be updated as more games are created.
Jenga Digital Accountability Boards were originally adapted from a Jeopardy Game created by Eric Curts. They were then created from scratch to better meet the gamer's needs by Erin Darnell.
Would you like to create your own game? Check out this Jenga template created by Erin Darnell. It will force you to make a copy and then you can edit everything as needed.
Share your game with us and we will add it to our site!!!
Tip 1: To edit each slide you will need to slide the transparent shape that is over it. Once you have included your content be sure to slide the transparent shape back over the slide. (This transparent shape ensure that students cannot advance slides just by tapping anywhere on the screen.)
Tip 2: If you add an image or a text box you will need to reorder the added image or text box to place it behind the next or home button and the transparent shape. To do this, select the image or text box that you have added, and then right click on it. Click on Order and then click on Send Backward. You will do this sequence of steps twice.
Do you have content you would like to see as a Jenga game? Would you like digital versions of other games? Please let us know. Send your content and suggestions to any of our Digital Integration Specialist.
