Meet the Teacher

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am so excited to have your child in my class! My name is Holly Dunn and I’m looking forward to teaching Fundamentals of Computing this year. I am a graduate of Westside High School, so it feels good to be home! I live in Williamston, SC with my husband (David), my three children (Brayden 14, Easton 10, and Scottie Lynn 19 months), and my two dogs. Some of my hobbies include dirt biking, fishing (my husband is a fishing guide), riding horses, gardening, and shopping.

I am a participant in the PACE program offered through the state of South Carolina. This program has allowed my dream of becoming a teacher to come true! I have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Strayer University. I will begin my Master of Education Administration and Supervision at Southern Wesleyan University this Fall.

As a teacher, it is my goal to make connections with my students. I want to know who they are and how they learn best. Using that information and the relationships made, I will be able to effectively teach, encourage, and motivate my students to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom. I am so excited to embark on this school year!
