My name is Brooke O’Neal, and I will be your child’s science and math teacher! I am so excited to get back to teaching again! Fifth grade is such a fun year, and I can’t wait to spend it with your child! I hold two degrees from Clemson University. I received my BA in Elementary Education in December 2001 and a Masters in Reading in August 2007. I received my National Board Certification in 2010 and recertified last year. This begins my 19th year of teaching, 11 of which have been in 5th grade.

I have two wonderful children: Bailee (age 13, 8th grader) and Nathan (age 10, 5th grader). They are the best things that have ever happened to me. In my spare time, I like to exercise, run, read a good book, take naps, work in my garden, and cheer on the Clemson Tigers! We are going to get to know a lot more about each other throughout the year!

Hello 5th Grade Family! My name is Kalli Queen and this year I will be teaching reading, ELA, and social studies as a part of the Virtual Learning Academy. I graduated from Anderson University in 2014 with certifications in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Education in Literacy at Clemson University. I absolutely love teaching and my favorite part is YOU, the students and families. This year will be a learning experience for us all, but I know we are up to the challenge! I am looking forward to us growing closer this year virtually!

My husband Logan and I love to spend time with our friends and family (especially outdoors), play lots of games (card games, board games, all of them!), and hang out with our really cute dog, Lola.
