Mt.Lebanon Student Chromebook Responsibilities

Using a school issued Chromebook is a privilege that requires responsibility from the student. Students are responsible for the following:

*Each Chromebook needs to remain in the case that was issued with it in order to prevent damage.

*Stickers and writing are not allowed on the body of the Chromebook.

*Chromebooks need to be brought to school every morning.

*Chromebooks need to be fully charged every morning by the time the student arrives to school. A good rule of thumb is to have it charged to 80% or higher at the beginning of each morning.

*Chromebooks should not have food or drink in close proximity.

*When a Chromebook is damaged or not working properly, it needs to be reported to the teacher as soon as possible.

*Chromebooks should be properly shut down before leaving school, as well as before coming to school. The proper way to shut down is to sign out of your user profile. After signing out, the option to “shut down” will be given at the bottom left of the screen.
