Welcome to France! Spend your summer immersed in the beauty of French language and culture while living with a host family through our Summer French Immersion Program. Start your day with a delicious café au lait, discover your French hometown with your new friends, and develop a nice French accent through animated conversations with hosts! On this program, you will also have the chance to meet French teens. They might be part of your host family, or your hosts might introduce you to teens in their extended family or circle of neighbors and friends.

Price (airfare not included)

2 to 3 weeks: $2,750

4 to 5 weeks: $3,400 (you'll likely get a chance to experience living with two different host families)

6 weeks: $4,000 (you will split your stay between two welcoming host families)

Includes

A homestay with a local host family who is looking forward to including you in their day-to-day life. You will get the most out of an immersion program if you are engaged, curious, and open to all the family activities.

Teacher Recommendation: Yes

If you have a strong desire to put your language skills into action, and feel ready to dive into a different lifestyle and culture, then this program is for you! You won’t spend a lot of time with other American students, and you should not expect to do a lot of traveling, but you will get an unforgettable glimpse into life as a French teen.

Program Structure

You will travel on your own and be met at the airport by your host family and/or our local coordinator in France. You will spend your whole stay with your host family and have the unique opportunity to learn French from a French family and eat, sleep, and play like the French do. Throughout your stay, you will have the support of the local coordinator.
