AES Library Media Mission
Our mission in the Andalusia Elementary School Library is to encourage a lifelong love of reading by providing diverse, engaging literature in multiple formats. We strive to help support grade-level reading proficiency goals through appropriate book selection and classroom teacher partnerships. We will help students locate, evaluate, and use information responsibly in a variety of print and digital sources.
Angie Mack, M.Ed. Library Media Specialist
After getting married to my husband Brett, I left a residential and commercial real estate career in Montgomery to move to Covington County in 2007. I graduated from Troy University and began teaching in 2010 and have taught kindergarten, first, third, and fourth grades. I earned a Master's degree in Library Media from the University of West Alabama in 2014. I became the librarian at our school in 2024. I am the proud mom of two Bulldogs, Everly and Rowe. When I'm not at school, I enjoy reading many genres of books, the beach, exercise, sports and lots of traveling.
Heather Fleming Library Paraprofessional
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Auburn University. After my second son was born, I became a stay-at-home mom. When my youngest daughter turned three, I began teaching preschool at First Baptist Church Mother's Day Out and loved it! When she started kindergarten, I began substitute teaching at AES, which led to a full-time position as the library paraprofessional in 2018. I love being a part of the AES family! My husband and I have five children and one daughter-in-law, who are all Andalusia Bulldogs. We also have a grandson and granddaughter, who are future Bulldogs!
