Course Choice

At the end of S2 you will be faced with a very important decision. You will choose the subjects you want to study in S3 and S4. In order to help you make the right choices there are a number of factors you need to know. The links below will help you make an informed choice.

Do you know what you want to do when you leave school?

If you know what it is you would like to do once you leave school, search for the subjects required to enable you to move into this area. Then choose these subjects to study at school.

What if you don't know what you want to do when you leave school?

If you have no idea what you would like to do once you leave school, choose the subjects you enjoy the most and that you are most engaged with. This will make your day at school a more positive experience and help you move into areas of work you enjoy, guided by the skills and qualifications you aspire to achieving.

There are many different pathways to a career you will find fulfilling. Not everyone remains in the same career or job forever. Exam results are not the be all and end all of success. Learning is a lifelong journey so explore a number of different options and know that you can change direction at any time in your life.
