Compassion In Farming

Something for lockdown. Short films and interactive presentations for children and adults.

Young people of all ages are easily engaged by the welfare of farm animals, and there are many opportunities to integrate this into the curriculum with a range of school subjects along with Activities and Resources for Parents with children of all year groups.

Our food system is relevant to many subjects including Biology, Geography, Environmental Science, Food Health & Wellbeing, Health & Food, Religious, Moral & Philosophical Studies and Science as it is connected to climate change, sustainability, human health, food security, animal welfare, biodiversity, soil health and pollution. It also is a very interesting subject choice for debating in English classes.

You can find what you need by browsing the complete collection and resources that can be downloaded free of charge.

In addition Compassion has a comprehensive section on their website about Fish, the most utilised animals on Earth. This is particularly relevant to Scotland given the large number of salmon farms.

GOGA is a new programme in Tayside that started in April of this year. GOGA supports disabled and non-disabled people to enjoy being active together.

It is made possible by founding funder Spirit of 2012 and additional investment from the London Marathon Charitable Trust.

In Tayside, GOGA is a partnership between Scottish Disability Sport and NHS Tayside. All partners are focused on getting some of Tayside's least active people moving more through fun and inclusive activities.

GOGA Tayside's activities are for all levels and abilities and can be adapted to your needs

Go on, Give it a GOGA!

Our activities are FREE and for all abilities and levels and are fully adaptable.
