Introduction

Each session will follow a four-step approach: (1) content introduction, (2) anticipatory set, (3) content discussion, and (4) classroom connection (see Pape et al., 2015). The main purpose of the content application is to support your understanding of the content being discussed and capture the classroom connections that you are making throughout the course. The weekly reflection will serve as a tool for you to focus, analyze, and create an action plan as you begin your work to build and strengthen your mathematical foundations.
