Amos ZELIKSON is an Israeli painter, born (1930) and deceased (2017) in Haïfa. He studied with Paul Konrad HOENICH, of the expressionist viennese school. Starting from the 60s he came in contact with the Monparnasse artistic milieu. Docteur d'Etat of the Sorbonne in soil mechanics, he pursued an intense artistic creation in parrallel with a scientific research carreer. His paintings in oil and watercolours follow the heritage of the impressionnists. His drawings, in pastel, ink, and pencil, mix classical and modern inspirations.
