The Officers of the Rocky Mountain Region of AMORC would like to share information about the Region and its Affiliated Bodies. They also have interesting messages to share that we hope you find inspiring!
Greetings, Fratres, Sorores and Friends of AMORC!
Our Affiliated Bodies in the Rocky Mountain Pacific Northwest Region are a wonderful way to meet with other Rosicrucians and experience another dimension of our Order. We would love to see more of you, whenever you can attend! If you have never attended an affiliated body, or if you have not returned in a while, perhaps we can offer better programs and service to you. Please send me an email at ColoGC777@gmail.com to share your thoughts on making AB’s more interesting for you to attend. Your responses are confidential, and will help make our affiliated bodies better.
If you live in the Seattle area, there are several members who are interested to start a new affiliated body there. Please email me if you are interested in helping to volunteer or even just to attend. Both are important and needed. There was an active and vigorous affiliated body in Seattle just a few years ago… I invite you to help shape its next incarnation!
What is your personal philosophy of life? We all have a personal philosophy, whether it is formed exclusively of our own experiences and observations, or from that plus consideration of the statements of great thinkers (some may be famous for their writings, some may be the humble, quiet people we know personally). How does a personal philosophy develop? A meaningful philosophy must treat with the questions and mysteries of life as we conceive them. Perhaps a philosophy only deals with the phenomenological behavior of the universe. We sometimes call this “science”, which is a disciplined approach to discovering and understanding the laws of nature in a predictive way. There are certainly many things yet to learn about matter, from the large questions of the behavior of stellar objects like black holes, to the smaller questions such as how a block of sandstone erodes into so many complex shapes. Thus, developing a personal philosophy around science could occupy all of our time and be very satisfying. But as mystics, we also probably (and paradoxically) include in our personal philosophies some sort of understanding of the unknowable; things that science in its current state cannot answer. What happens after we die? How is it that some people we meet have had experiences, like our own, about the connection between all beings, indescribable yet similar in an unspoken way that we simply feel? Is there a living and self-aware intelligence behind all of creation, or did natural laws evolve at random in a way that is consistent and universal? Do the laws of nature apply to subtle things like consciousness and intuition as certainly as they apply to the motion of material objects? What is knowledge, and how is it related to information? What is the nature of consciousness and self-awareness? What is love? A personal philosophy evolves from the questions we ask about our experience of the external and internal universe. It grows as we increase our life’s experiences, but it need not be confined to only what we have personally discovered. Make the thoughts of others an important source for the evolution of your personal philosophy of life. If nothing else comes of it, you will at least have interesting conversations! What better place to explore this than at a Rosicrucian Affiliated Body!
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Bill Hallett

Divine Directions,
"There was a time I was unaware
Yet aware I am right now
A flash arrived with perplexing stare
But I can’t remember how…
That twinkling was given unbeknownst to me
To express, to love, to think and be.
A gift so divine that I sometimes shiver
As I search to find the giver
This glimpse was granted to hold evermore
An internal eternity to explore,
A second’s pause and timelessness received…
From divine direction, a power conceived."

Beloved Fraters and Sorors,
Our region is growing. Mountain Rose Pronaos has initiated 13 new members since last May, including three more fratres just this last Sunday. Yet, as I’ve been saying, we have a lot of work to do. We have committees that need volunteers: Hospitality/Refreshments, Library, Social Media, and more to come. There is much more we could do with, and for, our members if we had the volunteers to help.
On April 7, our Book Salon will celebrate April as National Poetry Month by conducting a mystical poetry reading. This will be open to the public. There are Rosicrucian poets out there. Bring two or three short mystical poems to share. For May and June, we will return to our regular topic of Mental Alchemy.
On June 22 we will hold our annual Peace Ceremony at The Owl's Den at Pelican Ponds Disc Golf Course located on the western edge of the 88th Open Space along the South Platte River.
Please support us with a donation. Mountain Rose Pronaos is entirely member-supported, which enables us to pay our rent and conduct our regular business. If we want to expand our offerings to members and the public, our member donations must increase. There is a PayPal button in this newsletter if you wish to donate that way, or just drop your love gift in our beautiful AMRA box. We appreciate everything you do. If you have any ideas for fundraising, here is an opportunity to share them.
From All Points of the Triangle,
Ed Hanson, CO Regional Monitor and Mountain Rose Pronaos Master
Beloved Fratres and Sorores,
"All the ill that is in us comes from fear, and all the good from love." -- Eleanor Farjeon
"Let us learn to let go, to not allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by the circumstances and conditions of this world. Let us constantly remember that at the heart of ourselves, as at the heart of all human beings, there forever stands a silent and watchful guardian: the Master Within." -- Christian Bernard
Both quotes point out to not be overcome by fear. We need our silent attunement with the God of our hearts, the Master Within guarding our hearts, and to be of service with love, compassion, and understanding at all times. Through this harmonium, we hope to gain better wisdom and to have Peace Profound, which means also releasing all fear. For the more receptive we become of the positive forces, then we hope to be able to raise consciousness and good will towards mankind. My thoughts are that when interacting with society, does it sometimes help to let go of intellectual prowess and focus more on what your intuition knows is right?
Light, Life, and Love,
Frater Nathan Klotz
Pikes Peak Atrium Group Leader
My Brothers and Sisters, Fratres and Sorores;
As mystics, Rosicrucians and Martinists, we are always striving toward greater harmony and Peace Profound in our lives. One of the greatest tools we have to work with is our attitude toward life. We all have challenges coming at us each day – this is called Karma. How we react to those challenges determines our mood and our outlook on life. We can “fight” these changes to the status quo and feel threatened, or angry, or apprehensive, or even combative. Just as easily we can accept the challenges, go with the flow, and realize that the challenge was a “gift” so that we could experience a chance to grow and learn and “evolve.”
The Divine Universe is continually presenting us with opportunities to learn something, or, more accurately, to realize great truths in life. Sometimes they are big life lessons, uncomfortable events, but more often than we are aware of, they are small, subtle, awarenesses from which we can learn great truths. What is the Universe trying to tell you when you see a beautiful sunset, hear a bubbling brook, or hear a bird singing its heart out? These can trigger revelations within us if we open our hearts.
Yes, my fellow mystics, a sense of wonder and openness to the Divine’s messages, subtle or not so subtle, will greatly outweigh any tendency toward resistance if we are looking to live in harmony with this universe. Give it a try and see if life isn’t just a little easier.
May you ever dwell in the Eternal Light of Divine Wisdom!

Provincial Master, Traditional Martinist Order
Brothers and Sisters,
As we have mentioned from time to time, the Rocky Mountain Atelier embarked on a project to study Martinez de Pasqually’s Treatise on the Reintegration of Beings in 2020. This seminal work is foundational to Martinism, yet not something anyone would describe as “approachable” and thus many never attempt it. We undertook this project when the Covid pandemic forced the suspension of in-person activities as a way to stay fresh in our studies and maintain the light of Martinism. Now, nearly four years later(!) we have completed this study effort. During this time, we had brothers and sister from across the country join in regularly, including those from Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Washington and, of course, Colorado. I’m sure I’ve forgotten a few states. We even had brothers join us from as far away as Mexico City and Cameroon. The opportunity to share ideas and insights with so many fellow Martinists was a special treat.
Yet, as I mentioned, the manuscript is hardly “approachable.” Our studies dissected the treatise on a paragraph-by-paragraph basis. There is so much mystical meaning contained in it that each paragraph generated considerable discussion. I think I can speak for everyone who participated that the communal effort revealed so much extra valuable meaning. I’m sure we could start all over and find entirely new insights throughout the manuscript.
During some of the later studies, we bandied about the idea of what “reintegration” really looks like. To manifest something, you first must visualize it. In that regard, certainly, loving our neighbors and ourselves is a component. As Louis Claude de St. Martin advises, prayer is an essential component, and there are many other valid ideas.
Another way to look at it, though, is to consider our original state. When mankind was emanated from the Divine, we were endowed with free will. To give us free will, the Divine had to have trusted us to do the “right thing” every time. So, perhaps we can consider reintegration as the point at which the Divine can once again fully trust us. I find that a daunting concept, but I guess the only approach is one decision at a time.
I would like to especially thank our Venerable Provincial Master, David, for his unending dedication to the Pasqually studies. Brother David has given decades of service to enable many other brothers and sisters the chance to study Martinism. As one of them, I am truly grateful. A big shout-out also goes everyone who participated in the study over the nearly four years and offered unique insights to the benefit of all. You are special people and a special group, and I am grateful to you, too.
May we ever dwell in the Eternal Light of Divine Wisdom!
May we all Ever Dwell in the Eternal Light of Divine Wisdom!

Grand Lodge has extensive online offerings for both members and nonmembers. Our Regional Officers have worked together to develop Colorado Rosicrucian meetings through Zoom. These meetings are embracing a geographically expanding Rosicrucian community that is much larger than our local affiliated bodies in Colorado Springs and Denver.
Our Rocky Mountain Regional Newsletter desires to offer all our members a space to share their mystical thought/feeling/perspective. These Reflections need to be submitted to Grand Councilor Bill Hallett (cologc777@gmail.com) before newsletter publication: by November 30, February 28, May 30, August 30. The writing needs to be 500 words or less.
We invite you to share your thoughts, insights, and experiences. Share your Light with us!
