On May 12th we lost one of our most prominent members of the Rocky Mountain Region. Soror Terry Orlikoski served our region in many positions over the years. She served locally as Master of the Mountain Rose Pronaos, AMORC, Master of the Rocky Mountain Atelier, TMO, and Regional Monitor of the Rocky Mountain Region. Her strength and leadership skills created Light Life and Love on many different levels.
She was a powerhouse, a force of nature, as well as a warm, caring personality that all enjoyed being around. Her energies and many contributions leave a lasting impact in our hearts and lives.

The Officers of the Rocky Mountain Region of AMORC would like to share information about the Region and its Affiliated Bodies. They also have interesting messages to share that we hope you find inspiring!
Greetings, Fratres, Sorores and Friends of AMORC!
I hope this message finds you healthy, happy, and at harmony with the world! The Rocky Mountain Pacific Northwest Region continues in its recovery from the pandemic. Two of our Affiliated Bodies (AB’s) have resumed in-person meetings, and the third will resume outdoor public meetings by the time you see this message, with in-person meetings following soon after. Grand Lodge has a strong public presence in its Department of Instruction virtual meetings, and there are other virtual meetings for members only. The feedback from our Region’s virtual meetings is that members (especially those who cannot who cannot easily travel to AB’s) greatly appreciate the chance to meet and be with other Rosicrucians. We therefore will continue offering virtual meetings for the members of our Region even after AB operations have returned to “full normal”. As difficult as the pandemic has been for our AB’s, it has also been so for many individuals. Let us keep them all in our healing meditations. In correspondence with a friend, some thoughts have occurred that seem relevant to this...
The most mystical of experiences in life are often not recognized as such while they occur, but are clearly recognized afterward, upon reflection. These experiences are so immersive that our conscious awareness stops commenting while the experience occurs. It is only afterward that we can reflect on the experience and make some sense of it; to hear or feel the guidance of the inner self. Of course, the conscious awareness will also offer its interpretive comments at that time! This is also true of initiations, whether they be the symbolic initiations we have upon completing certain contents in a course of study, or the real-life initiations that occur when our Inner Master brings together the right circumstances for us to take a step forward in our spiritual growth. Sometimes, things don't work out as we consciously planned, and the result is often chaotic. Things may seem most uncertain before we emerge from the chaos of a dark night into the calm and confidence of a new dawn. It is in how we react at these moments that our inner character may be revealed. Can we trust our inner self to lead the way at such times? Absolutely! And we must!
I used to body-surf a lot, so that provides an analogy which works for me. Sometimes, you see a big wave and think you should go for it. Or maybe you don't think at all; you just go for it. Or you turn around from looking toward the certainty and security of the shore, and the wave is upon you! However it happens, you find yourself on a big wave. Sometimes, it's too big and it lifts you up and throws you face first into the sand below and then catches you up in its turbulence and whirls and buffets you for a bit before setting you back down. You stagger about in a daze, and make your way towards shore, shaking your head and saying "What was that!?"... After a while, you’re a bit wiser and you go back out to find the next big wave.
May the waves you ride set you down gently!
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Bill Hallett

"Sincerity
O thou who are enamored with the beauties of Truth, and hast fixed thy heart on the simplicity of her charms, hold fast thy fidelity unto her, and forsake her not; the constancy of thy virtue shall crown thee with honour.
The tongue of the sincere is rooted in his heart; hypocrisy and deceit have no place in his words. He blusheth at falsehood, and is confounded but in speaking the truth he hath a steady eye.
He supporteth as a man the dignity of his character; to the arts of hypocrisy, he scorneth to stoop.
He is confident with himself; he is never embarrassed; he hath courage enough for truth, but to lie, he is afraid.
He is far above the meanness of dissimulation; the words of his mouth are the thoughts of his heart.
Yet with prudence and caution he openeth his lips; he studieth what is right, and speaketh with discretion.
He adviseth with friendship; he reproveth with freedom; and whatsoever he promiseth, shall surely be performed."

Dear Fraters and Sorors,
This is a turbulent year for Mountain Rose Pronaos. It looks to be a year of great change for us. For the first time in two years, we will have a full ritual team. We seem to be facing a change of location as we undertake to find new quarters for our meetings and activities.
With great change comes great opportunity. We can look forward to making new friends, adapting new strategies, learning and trying new things, experiencing new growth in our affiliated body and in ourselves. I invite you to be part of these new opportunities. There are new tasks to perform, providing new opportunities for personal growth and fulfillment. Find out where you can make your mark.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Ed Hanson
Beloved Fraters and Sorors,
When was the last time you looked up at the stars on a clear night? Didn’t the sight take your breath away? And to think that the stars you can see are just a tiny, almost infinitesimal fraction of the total number of stars in existence! It’s mind-boggling, the size of our Universe! Our Universe may in fact be limitless!
Did you realize that the Universe within you is just as vast? It is! And every time you take a quiet moment to go within, you can find greater and greater wonders. It only takes a moment. So why don’t we explore the vastness within ourselves, of our Consciousness, more often?
Is it because we have forgotten who we are? Is it because our everyday view of the world looks limited? Because we have bought into an idea that we can only do and be so much?
Who are we, anyway? I believe we are each a part of, and an extension of, the great, unlimited creative force that some call the Cosmic, and many call God. If that is who or what each of us truly is, we each must be a being who creates our life, our world, our experiences!
We only need to form the habit of going within on a regular basis, preferably each day, even if for just a few minutes. That habit can give us the fuel to do anything, be anything we like. That habit alone may be enough to make you the Master of your life!
May you find that Mastery today!!!
With all good wishes for Peace Profound, I am
Dave Wheeler

My Sisters and Brothers, Sorores and Fraters:
This journey we are on, this living and learning, this increasing our knowledge base through experience so that we understand better the meaning of life and our place in this universe – this journey is not down a one way street! We should not expect to take and receive continually without giving back at some point.
You have heard of the law of AMRA. Very simply stated it says that we need to return to the Cosmic in like kind what we have received. When we break the flow of Cosmic energy in whatever form, we can no longer expect to receive from the Cosmic. This operates on all planes, spiritual, material, economic, educational, social, and so on.
Now, I could focus this message in the necessity to financially support your spiritual source such as a church, a synagogue, a mosque, the Pronaos, or the Atelier. They are all in need of your support and provide you with many levels of rewards. But I want to talk about other ways to pay back the abundant gifts that our spiritual quest has given us.
What have we learned in our mystical studies? Have you learned to do astral projection or how to move matches on the surface of water with your mind? Have you learned to heal the sick or to mentally create an event you wanted? These are all very wonderful talents that we are taught and they deserve our gratitude and repayment. But the main thing you have been taught, perhaps unconsciously, is to LOVE. All these abilities are for naught unless we use them to spread love, compassion, and true caring in this poor, challenged world. Love can take many forms and you have to find the form that best suits you.
Grand Master Chris Warnken visited our region many decades ago and delivered a talk at a convention here. I don’t remember the total content of the message but one phrase has always stuck with me. WE MUST SEEK OUT DOORWAYS TO SERVICE. He was saying that it is our duty as mystics and enlightened human beings to always search for ways to help our fellow human beings. No matter how much or how little we have learned in whatever area of study or experience, we have an obligation to reach out our hand and help others that are in need of our knowledge and talents.
Both our capacity to love that has been expanded through our studies, and the law of AMRA, demand that we find ways to help our fellow man.
I encourage you to find your gifts, your means of repaying the Cosmic account upon which you have been drawing. You may have money to help support an educational cause such as AMORC. You may have some advanced talent such as painting, making music, dancing or such that you can teach. You may have higher education in some area which you can use to instruct children or even adults. We all have some form of genius that others need. Please find yours and share it with the world. It is only through completing this circuit of Cosmic energy, this receiving and then giving, that it will continue to flow to you.
May you ever dwell in the Eternal Light of Divine Wisdom!

Grand Lodge has extensive online offerings for both members and nonmembers. Our Regional Officers have worked together to develop Colorado Rosicrucian meetings through Zoom. These meetings are embracing a geographically expanding Rosicrucian community that is much larger than our local affiliated bodies in Colorado Springs and Denver.
Our Rocky Mountain Regional Newsletter desires to offer all our members a space to share their mystical thought/feeling/perspective. These Reflections need to be submitted to Grand Councilor Bill Hallett (cologc777@gmail.com) for review 4 weeks prior to newsletter publication: November 30, February 28, May 30, August 30. The writing needs to be 500 words or less.
We invite you to share your thoughts, insights, and experiences. Share your Light with us!
