Winter 2016
My Brothers and Sisters, Fraters and Sorores;
It has been an honor to serve as Master of the Rocky Mountain Atelier (RMA) of the Traditional Martinist Order (TMO) for the past two years. The December initiations for the Initiate Degree and the S. I. Degree are a part of this cycle’s accomplishments. I am thankful to the Grand Heptad for allowing the RMA to confer these initiations.
I am extremely appreciative to all of the past masters and officers for their constant dedication to the preservation of the light of Martinism. Without their constant efforts I would not have had this honor.
The officers could not have served without the benefit of the everyday members. I am so grateful for those that were always there to serve and help.
This is dedicated to those members that were at every meeting and helped keep the Light of Martinism alive.
The bricklayer laid a brick on the bed of cement. Then, with a precise stroke of his trowel, spread another layer and laid on other bricks. The foundations grew visibly, the building rose, tall and strong, to shelter people
I thought of that poor brick buried in the darkness at the base of the big building. No one sees it, but it accomplishes its task, and other bricks need it.
What difference if I am on the rooftop or in the foundations of the building, as long as I stand faithfully at the right place.

Winter 2016
Greetings Brothers and Sisters,
The Traditional Martinist Order is structured such that it presents its teachings in a Heptad or Atelier over a two year cycle. The next cycle starts in January 2016 when the groups start presenting lesson number 1 of each of the three degrees. As you might expect, this is the ideal time to start your study of TMO philosophy.
Why? What can TMO teach us that AMORC cannot? Are we turning our backs on AMORC if we investigate TMO? Let me try to answer these questions.
Those who have known me for a long time know that I differentiate the two groups in this way: AMORC works from the outside in, and TMO works from the inside out. Their end goals are the same and that is full understanding and integration with all of the universe. When you gaze on an object with two eyes, that object becomes three dimensional and so many more aspects of that object come into realization. Likewise when we study multiple mystical philosophies we gain an insight beyond studying a single one.
Alright, how do AMORC and TMO differ? This will be a huge generalization and I apologize up front to those who take exception. AMORC, going from the outside in, gives us a great education in how the universe works, both physically and metaphysically. Once we understand the natural laws we can begin to put those laws to work to influence the world. We can heal, we can positively influence current events, we can astrally travel to learn and to comfort. We learn the Mastery of Life!! In doing this we learn our true identity and come to look upon all beings and all creation as part of the Universal Soul.
TMO, working from the inside out, starts off teaching us about our true natures, but more particularly, about our soul. It delves immediately with our relationship to Divinity, and the great plan to return us to our original state. No, this isn’t traditional religious training but deep mystical concepts that have come down directly from the Mystery Schools. It expands and elucidates what you have been taught in your youth. From there the student is exposed to the deepest teachings from all the great philosophers, religious teachers, and scientists. The goal is to take this understanding of humanity’s true nature and to become a driving force in helping all our souls find peace and reintegration with Divinity.
Both schools have the same goal. Both are based on the ancient traditions of the Mystery Schools. Both are administered by AMORC, and AMORC recommends TMO to all its members. Through the study of both systems we experience different aspects of mystical principles and have a deeper understanding of each principle.
And so, my fellow mystics, if you are not currently a member of TMO I would invite you to consider it. We all need all the help we can get in finding ourselves and our place in the Cosmos!
May you ever dwell in the Eternal Light of Divine Wisdom!
