Just like reading, regular practice over the summer with problem solving, computation and math facts will maintain and strengthen the mathematical gains you made over the school year.
Practicing these topics is not mandatory for students entering 8th grade, but it is recommended.
This summer, you have the ability to enroll in a course on DeltaMath to access online practice. DeltaMath provides practice problems with immediate feedback, examples of similar problems, as well as instructional videos for each topic. You also have the option of working through one of the "Get ready for..." courses on Khan Academy.
Students entering the course, GRADE 8 MATH:
