Students in Drawing and Painting II classes finished watercolor portraits of orphaned children who live in a group home in India. This is in conjunction with the nonprofit organization The Memory Project (www.memoryproject.org). Students have created Memory Project portraits every year since 2008, and the Jamie Hulley Arts Foundation has sponsored this project from the beginning. (https://jamiehulleyartsfund.org/).
The students are rehearsing for their 2021 Spring Concert and are thrilled to finally be able to combine their dancing skills with their vocal talents this week. For almost a year now, we have not been able to sing together in the building, but we have been able to dance, so the new addition of being able to sing together again has really been exciting and uplifting for everyone
