We Need You!  

Parent Liaisons

All sports teams at Amherst High School and Amherst Middle School are encouraged to have Parent Liaisons who are the interface between the coaches, athletes, other parents and the Amherst Tigers Booster Club.  This liaison should be a parent/guardian of an athlete from that team. *The Coach will act as a Liaison until a parent volunteer is identified*.

Parent Liaison Responsibilities:

1. Snack Shack: Coordinate representation at the Snack Shack twice a year per team. Athletes are supervised by parents from the team. Athletes can also be awarded volunteer hours for community service. 2. Parent Communications:  Use parent email list from the coach to send an introduction email to the parents. Communicate with parents as needed throughout the season.  Messages can include upcoming Boosters events, news, needs and coach requests. 3.  Meetings: If possible attend monthly meetings usually first Monday of each month. 4. Commitment: Parent Liaison is for one academic year and can be renewed annually. Please contact Amherst Tigers Boosters at boosters@amherstschools.org with any questions or ideas.

Volunteer during a game at the Snack Shack

The snack shack is one of the Booster Club’s biggest fundraisers—and we can’t run it without the help of volunteers. Working the stand is easy, fun, and a great way to meet other families while directly supporting our student athletes.

Jobs include:

• Taking orders and serving food/snacks

• Handling cash and card payments

• Restocking drinks and supplies

• Keeping the stand tidy and welcoming

• Grilling hot dogs

• Apparel sales

Shifts are short, the atmosphere is lively, and every dollar raised goes right back into enhancing the athletic experience for our kids. Whether you can give one game or a whole season, your time makes a big difference! Student volunteers are also welcome!

Donations for the snack shack

We are always in need of supplies and concessions. Any donations are welcome!
