Volunteer for our Annual Athletics Kickoff Event

On Monday, August 31, we'll hold our annual Athletics Kickoff event, which brings together all middle and high school athletic teams, and we need lots of volunteers to make it a success.

Volunteer opportunities include helping with planning prior to the event, or helping during the event selling Tiger Cards, selling spirit apparel, grilling and serving food & running games and activities. It's a fun way to kick off the season, meet other parents, and support our student-athletes while building excitement for the year ahead.

The snack shack is one of the Booster Club’s biggest fundraisers—and we can’t run it without the help of volunteers. Working the stand is easy, fun, and a great way to meet other families while directly supporting our student athletes.

Jobs include:

• Taking orders and serving food/snacks

• Handling cash and card payments

• Restocking drinks and supplies

• Keeping the stand tidy and welcoming

• Grilling hot dogs

• Apparel sales

Shifts are short, the atmosphere is lively, and every dollar raised goes right back into enhancing the athletic experience for our kids. Whether you can give one game or a whole season, your time makes a big difference! Student volunteers are also welcome!

Team Liaisons

Each Amherst Middle School and High School sports team will have a Team Liaison who serves as the primary connection between the team and the Amherst Tigers Booster Club. The liaison helps keep coaches, athletes, captains, and families informed while ensuring that every team has a voice.

The Team Liaison should preferably be a parent or guardian of a current athlete on the team. The commitment is for one academic year.

No experience is necessary. The Booster Club will provide guidance, resources, and support.
