About Mrs. Federer

Hi, I’m Mrs. Stephanie Federer, your first grade teacher! I am very excited for my third year at Powers Elementary School. This will be my 16th year teaching. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2004 for elementary education and received my MS in reading and literacy from Capella  University in 2010.

I am from Milan, Ohio. I have two daughters, McKenzie (17) and Kameron (14) and we live in Avon. McKenzie is in the marching band and plays the clarinet. Kameron is a cheerleader and competes in competition cheer. She loves to come in to the classroom to help when she has days off from school. I also have a mini Goldendoodle named, Hayes and a midi Goldendoodle named, Roxy. Mr. Federer recently retired from the U.S. Coast Guard in 2021. We have lived in Wilmington, NC, Chicago, IL, Mobile, AL, Toledo, Ohio, and finally, Avon.  

I'm so excited for this school year! I can't wait to see you!
