Mission

It is the mission of our library program to produce creative individuals who think critically, share ideas, and never stop growing. 

Vision

The vision of the school library program is to include all students regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, or socio-economic status, and to create a safe community for learning. We aim to teach students how to inquire and think critically about about the world around them in order to solve both internal and external problems. Students will learn to explore new topics through a variety of formats, causing them to create new experiences, reflect, and grow. They will engage ethically and legally in the creation and sharing of new knowledge and will curate resources of personal relevance. Students will collaborate with others to broaden perspectives and achieve common goals. (AASL Standards Frameworks for Learners, 2018).
