Just a few things about me.....I received a B.A.from Binghamton University then two M.Eds. from Lesley University -- one in Middle School Education, and another in Creative Arts and Learning. Though I was born on Long Island New York, upstate New York always felt more like home, a place I stayed with my grandparents every summer.  Many of my writings -- poetry as well as stories -- have been written about this beloved place. Reading and writing have always been favorite activities of mine.  I love to write along with students in class, and always have a pile of books I want to read. I'm in a book group with friends in my neighborhood! 

Other than my love of Language Arts, I also love to hike and bike!  And in case you can't tell from looking at my pictures, I love animals!!!  I have a 16-year-old Eskie rescue, Kasha, a 3-year-old polydactyl cat, Rocky and 1-year-old cat Melody.

I'm so looking forward to getting to know all of you!
